I thoroughly enjoyed the mythology woven in the book a about the Egyptian Deities. In addition I was interested to learn of the regional differences in the order of creation. The mythology was also somewhat new and extremely interesting. Another excellent book by Matt Clayton. 1
Beautifully written and very interesting while still being easy to understand the history.
Along with Greek & Roman Mythology you have Egyptian Mythology. The Big 3 or Super 3. A wonderful book to tie in with other books on Mythology. Almost every culture has some type of creation myth. In Egyptian mythology you get this and so much more. The importance of Ra as a god & how this god plays a significant role in Egyptian culture is shown. Be ready to take notes to keep all the many names to keep them from being confusing to you. But, such a great book by the Captivating History staff & another job well done!!!
I enjoyed this book about Egypt's Mythology. I admit that at times Egyptian mythology can be confusing, especially because some of the names are very close to each other. This is a relatively simple read. The stories are well told and kept my interest.
Infinite book of Egyptian gods. Ok read but a like on the long winded side. If you want to know about Egyptian gods a good read.
A well written book on Egyptian Mythology. It was an enjoyable read.
