This series is a good read and well written. The love story is clean and it always brings God in. however after the 3rd or 4th book, each story somewhat repeats itself. Same scenario, just different names of characters; lady traveling through the mountains to Canada territory, she needs a guide to get her through, together they battle wild animals, cold snow, befriend indians, tragedy of some kind hits, lady and man feel attraction for each other along the way, which they fight, each one having their own reasons why they shouldn't get married, then they give in and fall in love and settle in Canada. I would love to see a little more variety or more continuation of characters from previous book.
I have enjoyed all the books in this series, and this one is no exception. What a beautiful love story of perseverance, steadfastness, and strength. Starting out as an adventure to travel with another family to her brother's home in Canada, Noelle's life is turned upside down, and all her plans are rewritten with a series of events change everything. Daniel has lived and adjusted to living a lonely life. All that changes when life-threatening events change his heart. A beautiful and well-written love story. And what a beautiful cover! I highly recommend this book and every other book in the series. Looking forward to this next book in this series!
I love this addition to a great series. Daniel was an interesting character, and I like the strength of Noelle throughout the journey. They are a good team as they face surprising obstacles in their path. I loved reuniting with past characters. I can’t wait for the next book!
One of the most wonderful and exciting western romances I have read in a long time. The writing was so descriptive, I could feel the bitter cold and the unrelenting blizzards our couple traveled through. A super good story!
I loved this book! The courage of Daniel and Noelle was amazing. I really like this author and have read all her books. This one may be my favorite. I can't wait to read the next one when it comes out in January.
What a pleasure to read a book that soothes and comforts you! There were trials to overcome, but they helped to draw the H & h closer as well as made them a stronger, better person. I recommend this one.
Love this Book because it is a story of strength, courage, and love. It is also a book that honors God, can wait till I read more books by this author.
The stories about the people that settled our nation amazes me. The hardships that they endured astounds me. I could not put this book down!
