Nice book with lots of table topper patterns with instructions that seem easy to follow. Love the full color patterns. Table toppers for all seasons. A great value for the number of patterns you get. I'll scan the templates for use with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. Just have to remember to add the 1/4" seam allowance. I recommend this book for all sewing levels.
Loved the variety of patterns in this book, but even with the detailed instructions, I'm not sure that I could attempt many of them. I've only been quilting for a short time, though, and am not super confident in my abilities. A more advanced quilter would certainly do better.
First let me say that if you don't already have an excessive (my husband's word...not mine) amount of quilting-related books, then I'd give this book five stars for having a nice selection of table runners, toppers, and what could also be used as wall hangings. Projects include traditional, contemporary, modern, and sort-of primitive. Instructions are easy to follow.The reason I dropped one star from this book is simply because I already have a whole lot of these patterns from various other books and publications. Plus, there are six Kim Diehl patterns! which is more than any other one designer. Don't get me wrong, I'm Kim's fan and already own all eight of her books (plus have pre-ordered her latest one) but I was disappointed that I immediately recognized all but one of her patterns in this "...Table Toppers" book.Even with all the patterns that I already own, it was nice to see this collection of toppers and I found a handful of projects I would be interested in making someday.
This is a wonderful book. It has really simple runners that are stunning but easy to sew and some others that are also beautiful but are a bit more complex.. I am making some toppers for gifts and several are going to be the quick gifts with some of the more complex when I have the time to really sew. This is going to be my go to book for sure. I found some gorgeous blocks that can be expanded to make a twin size or larger quilt.Great photos and plenty of inspiration..
If you are looking to make a variety of table toppers this is the book. From everyday to holiday themes. Something fir everyone traditional to modern.
This is an excellent book. Had so much fun. So far, five! I think Christmas is a wrap.
Easy to read and follow directions to create a table topper. You can also add extra rows for a small quilt with these ideas.
